I used to use coupons all the time, somehow over the years I lost interest, however I recently found a website that has rekindled my desire: www.krazycouponlady.blogspot.com . These ladies started here in Idaho, however they have a national following now. Tonight I go to their coupon class. There is so much more to couponing and saving more money than I ever imagined.

I use some, but I know there are more ways that I could be saving. I see these gals walking around the stores with sports card binders full of coupons, in these plastic sheets. What am I missing???? Seems like a bit of a hassle to me (trying to cart that around with a 4 month old and all her duds) but I guess these folks really save money.

I don't eat all that stuff that coupons cater to, though.

I checked out their site, and it looks really interesting, but there's a whole lot of reading and stuff that I just don't have time to do (guess that's why I just clip a few here and there :))

I use them, but only for stuff I would normally buy, and also to get good deals to donate to our food shelf. However, on that end, I try to buy stuff that is nutritious and needed versus the salt laden junk in a box.
I usually only save around ten-twenty bucks per trip, but that is better than nothing.
I read moneysavingmom.com and have really saved a lot thru her suggestions.

I used them when I go "big shopping" every 2 weeks..but only for things I would buy otherwise. They are especially good for when you buy pet food, paper goods and things like shampoo, and cleaners.I don't buy alot of the snack things, prepared foods and cereals that there are so many coupons for, but always manage to save at least $10-15 each shopping trip...and I am happy to save THAT. Some things I won't buy UNLESS I have a coupon. There are alot of things I wouldnt' buy even if they were nearly free..haha.

Me too Tammy! Otherwise you don't safe money but spend more, lol. So only using the coupons I need. I sometimes go to a FOR FREE Dutch website, where you can ask for trial size things. I mostly do that for a new tea, or soups etc. OR for cat food, lol. Next week or so I will be receiving some free cat food for Pinky YAY!!
