I know it is no big deal but I just noticed my stars haven't moved in 2 years and I know I have chatted plenty. Just thought you might want to know there is a error somewhere.

True Blue farmgirl is the "highest" level. Your number of posts will go up but your stars have reached the highest level.

Your post count didn't go up in any of those lasts posts, like Gabe's did. When you said it was 1568 it showed your next comment as 1574. but then the more you posted, it didn't move them up. Interesting? I never thought to see those..hehe

I count 8 new posts here by cinnamongirl, and the previous number was 1567. I currently see it at 1575. 1567 + 8 = 1575 (Not trying to be degrading, just demonstrating my process.)
So that math works out; and your last few posts on other topics all look like they were at 6:00 AM yesterday, prior to my last count here.
I think it's alright.
I'm not certain what the timing is for post counts getting updated, but you should see it update to the most current count every time you refresh the page, and that number should be the same anywhere you see that user's name — whether old posts, or new posts; this post, or that post; red posts, or blue posts. (sorry.)
If you're not sure you're seeing a count update, make sure to refresh the page in your browser. That should make it update to the most recent count, but if you're not seeing it change right then, maybe it is taking a few minutes (although it shouldn't). Let me know if you still see the phenomenon after you're sure you've refreshed the page you're viewing.
That's my story so far... we'll see if I can stick to it. |

All of your previous posts adjust to the newcount number. If you make two posts in a row it may appear that they aren't changing because they both switch to the new HIGHER number.

Out of curiosity . . . what are the "levels"? How many stars? How many posts? What is one called at any of the levels?

Do the color's change?? I see 5 star light blue ones but I think Alee has 5 bright red stars. I'm not sure what I have but I will look when I post this. I think I have 4 stars. But do the color's mean anything??

Alee used to work for the farm and had red stars to indicate that. I didnt think she still officially worked for them but she might. Otherwise they may have just forgotten to change her color. When you get to 5 stars you will switch to a lighter blue.

I don't think this will do any harm, posting here what I see in the ranking configuration admin pages.
Top-secret info, so... ya know, don't go spreading the word around or anything.
I think I may post this to the FAQs sometime. No reason not to, other than perhaps to curb a little competitiveness. Don't go and get all cliquey on me now that I've shown you. "We're the light blue level 5s, and you're not. Pthbthbthbth!" None of that. |
