I saw the post below about homemade pasta, it sounds so easy and delicious.

I've always wanted to make my own, so bought the pasta attachment to my KitchenAid stand mixer.

I must be doing something wrong because it took me an hour to make a pound of noddles. Not a good use of my time!

I only tried it once, does anyone have experience with this and any suggestions?

My mum has one (the pasta attachment) and it does take a couple of tries at the recipe before you get all that fast with it. Like most things it will start to take less time as you get more practiced. Right now I think it takes us about 20-30 minutes to make pasta. Still not something I would do nightly, but about as much work as a loaf of bread. I actually make and cut most of my noodles by hand (mostly I make udon noodles) instead of with the machine.
