Just remember to thread the bottoms first and the needles last.
My new one threads itself I just have to get it in to a hole and pump the leaver and it will shoot it all the way through.

Thanks Diana: I think I will be able to leave the thread that is already in there for this apron anyway. It looks to be a close enough match. My husband wants me to get the self-threading one, but mine is a really good machine. I just hate to thread it! LOL

WHEN IS THE NEXT APRON SWAP?? I'm ready....aprons are my favorite thing to swap. I don't have too many yet. :-)
What about fall/harvest or Halloween? (I'm not a good swap mamma...but I'll participate.)

Toni your apron you made is great and pincushion is yummy.

Shery-lyn loving the pattern you found do tell what pattern it is. I love the collar and shape.

Merry your apron turned out great for Diana--sweet fabric.

Had to check everyones blog for pics too much fun.

Linda I will be watching for it and definately will take a photo.

Fantastic job ladies.

The pattern is Indygo Junction. It's called In-Over-Your-Head. For the most part, it was relatively easy to put together, just a little confusing with attaching the collar, but once I saw all the pieces ready to assemble, it was pretty clear how to do it. I finished the other one last night and just love it. Not sure I totally dig putting it over my head yet, but you are completely covered with this apron, so not even a little mess can get on your clothes. It is very comfortable too.

Sheryl-lyn I love the vintage fabric...and the style of apron is really cute!!

In the hot weather I wear a sport bra with apron over it..and shorts or capri...cool that way.

The ones I wear don't cover the whole back but sport bras cover enough anyway.
Yours could also be called a pinafore?

OOooohhh!!! I would love to be involved in a Halloween apron swap! If there is a list of willing participants, please add me to it!

Toni it is a great apron and Sheryl-lyn is a wonderful sewer you are a lucky girl enjoy it.

Linda I think it doesn't what your age wear what you fancy and find comfortable that is my motto. Show us a pic if you make it. I am going to see if I can find the pattern too I saw one similar online with a square collar from the 40's.

Diana do you have your apron?

Oh MY!!! Words can't describe my apron!!! It is just awesome, beautiful,
and I LOVE it. Once again, I am a lucky lady. It fits me great and I wanted
to wear it all night after I opened the box. Once again Thank you!! And I received
soap another of my favorite things, and two hot pads. I use only handmade
soap so this was just a great tuck. Toni

Toni: I am so glad you are happy with the apron and the soap!! I love to make soap too, so anytime I get a chance, I am working on that with my friend, Deb. I never made hot pads before, so hope they are the right size and they hold their shape. There is insulated batting inside, so you can use them on the table, I think. I had a great time making these things for you, Toni!!
