Ooooh I received my box from Diana today. It was a box packed full of Patriotic Spirit! I love love love the apron, and the hotpad, and the towels, and the little matching aprons, and the hot mit and everything!!! What a great, lovely, awesome surprise! I will post pictures!

I just got a new pattern tonight and the most adorable vintage patriotic fabric!! Tomorrow I will be cutting and sewing!! Cannot wait to get this one done since I love the fabric so much.

Uh oh! The pattern I got calls for me to use my serger!! I love/hate that serger!! It's time to dust it off though and use it. The pattern is really cute, so I am determined to make it for this swap. Then I can make more of the same one eventually.

I am not having a problem yet!! I have not used it in a year or so!! LOL It's just the threading part that sometimes makes me nuts, but this weekend, I will get to it and make it work for me. I will not be defeated by that serger when I like the way it makes my work look.
