Good Mornin' gals!

My hubby is the promotions director at the NUMBER 1 (I'm proud) Christian radio station in the U.S. You can visit it at www.ksbj.org

His job is all about creating new games, contests, getting the prizes and writing copy....he's a funny writer. I asked him if I could use some of his old contests here. He said sure.

"Love Handles" was a contest where a spouse would email to the station their lovey dovey nickname for their honey. During the week leading to Valentine's Day, many different names would be announced during the day and the other spouse had to call in and claim that "love handle" as theirs. For example, the dj would say, "If you are honey bunny, give us a call. Well, there may be several honey bunnies but the one to get the call through first won the prize.

We can't duplicate that exactly but we sure can share our love handles for our hubbies and theirs for us!

So, post here all your love handles, they will be put in a hat and at the end of Feb. one will be randomly chosen for a "couples" prize.

Blessings
Catherine

my hubby is Stud Muffin

Okay, you gals that don't want your husband's to know you've posted....if you win the gift you'll have to come up with a good story!!!

These are great! So creative! Not one has been the same as any in the original contest. My hubby is going to bring me some of the names to share with y'all.

I also call him Schnooky wooky, and my hunk man

He calls me Cat....short for Catherine, honey bunny, and sugar momma.

Blessings
Catherine

P.S. Jenny, I want to ask so bad about that name!!

Mine has two... "Mug Face"... his I.D. badge photos for work always look like mug shots..considering he is a sheriff that's rather ironic don't you think... to remind him we are all common people

his other nick name is Schmoopy...for the face he makes when he tries to be romantic (he is terrible at it, god love him)

I call my DH Baby Darlin' or Big Daddy. LOL
By the way Catherine, LOVE the game!
I'm also headin' on over to ksbj to check things out! We are big Christian music fans. Our oldest son will be playing at a church in Colleyville, Texas on Feb. 17th with his band, Slingshot57.

...and I will sing at the top of my lungs, and I will dance, even if I'm the only one!

I call mine "Hercules" because he's always telling me, "Oh you shouldn't do that, you need a big strong man to help" so I assume he's trying to refer to himself !! LOL Actually he is very strong and helps quite a bit. His other name is "Poopsie McStink". Don't ask.

Okay, here goes. Sugar Booger. We saw a comedian do a bit on this name when we were dating and it just stuck. Also, Sweetie PD (his initials). Funny, but we never, ever call each other by our real names..it's always Pumpkin, Darlin, BabyDoll, Precious, CutiePie, etc. I'm enjoying this thread.

oh boy...
Sometimes: "Davey wavey littl' cupcake Dave..."
And ocassionally..... ummmmmm..... "Fartman" (frequently sung to the old Batman TV series tune). I have a name too, but it isn't as memorable.
Most times we just call each other Sweetie or Honey.

Wow , these names above warm my heart. It is so sweet to see how we love our men, and they love us.

For me, my pet name for hubby is Cody. His for me is Sunshine. We always thought we would name our son Cody, but we never had a son. That is okay, cause we love our girl.

Cody, wierdly enough, comes from the word Kodak, since we wanted to let our love develop, and did not want an instant picture of it, like those cameras that spit out photos that develop before your eyes. I know, groan......:)

Okay when I first saw the title of this post I thought you might be talking about weight loss, boy was I wrong. Okay, my husband isn't home right now so I have to do this quick.

He is HoneyBear - because he uses honey in his coffee and has a little honeybear.

Mine are (I have two) Pooky or Polkadot Butt (because of some PJ's I had that had you guessed it, polkadot's.

So here goes: I was reading the posts rather quickly and read yours and I swear I thought it said "Sugar B(rhymes with phoner)!!! I thought "Oh my, that's a lot of infomation for us Farmgirls". I went back and re read it, now I'm as red as a beet as I type this!!! Luzy

Polkadot Butt..........I love it!

Tim calls me Honeybun and I call him Bad Tim(comes from when he worked for a company where that was his employee ID and we thought it was funny) or just T.
