Hi all,

I wanted to share how we made Easter baskets this year. We have a small home and so we do not like to store items like baskets year round. Our solution is to make baskets out of plastic milk jugs each year. It is fun, frugal, and easy to do. You just cut around the two circles, where the "eyes" will go, then make two ears with construction paper, gluing them to the inside sticking out. You cut the top pouring spout off all together. I have a picture of it but don't know how to upload it to this forum. We also try to save money by buying little things year round for our "prize basket" which we pilfer for Easter baskets.

Happy Trails!

That is a great idea and would work for baskets or containers for most holidays and for everyday use as well. Thanks!

cute idea. I would love to see pics. :)
You have to use photobucket or flicker or something like that and then paste image codes in your posting box. sounds harder than it is..hehe
