I love flowers, but tend to plant ones that have a fragrance. When I read that Sweet Lena Irises have a wonderful aroma, I purchased some bulbs. That was three years ago. Here is a picture of an iris in my backyard last summer. I let some flowers dry on the stems, cut them and used them as a dried flower arrangement for the winter.

I LOVE the Sweet Lena Irises! Oh you should smell MaryJanesFarm during peak Iris season! I was lucky to go out there about a month after my daughter was born. A slight breeze kept wafting over the garden that grows the irises and it smelled so good! My friend Eva and I felt practically intoxicated by it! It was lovely! It felt a bit like stepping into a fairy tale! I need to order some so I can plant them all around our rental! I wish I had thought of it before- but wouldn't it be fun to leave Sweet Lenas as your "Signature" at every place you live?
