I always put mine back. I know how I feel when I got to pull into a parking space and there are several carts there - it is very irritating. Also, my son worked as a "cart wrangler" at Wal-Mart for a while and it is a very frustrating job for very little pay. I have also had runaway carts hit my car and I don't like that, either.

I always put mine back. My mom always did when we were with her, and I feel guilty if I don't. I figure I am setting a good example for my kids that way. I only have two right now, so it isn't that hard to put the cart away and still keep track of them. I always try to park as close to the cart corrall as I can so it is easier to manage. I put my groceries away with the boys still in the cart, put it away, then we walk back to the car. But really, since we have had the second baby, I usually try to do my grocery shopping when my husband is around to help, so he makes my life much easier by letting me get in the car with the boys while he puts the bags away and takes the cart back. He used to not take the carts back, but since I always insist on it, he has started doing it on his own now, too. I agree that they should all be like Aldi's and have to pay for the cart. |

I always put mine back in the designated area. Depending on weather I sometimes run it back to the store. When someone is unloading their cart and I am going in I ask for their cart to bring back :) My vehicle has been hit by runaway carts so I know what it's like and would hate for it to happen to someone else's vehicle.

I always put the cart back. I have seen people leave the cart 2 steps away because they are so lazy and rude. I actually saw a lady next to me leave her cart after unloading and get in her car. I got out of my car and looked straight at her, grabbed the cart and told her if she was too damn lazy to push it 6ft. I would do it for her. I pulled into the only parking space left at Walmart last week and there was a cart sitting in front of me. I had to get out of the car, move it,get back in and finish parking and then used the cart to shop with. One time someone left the cart in the parking lot,a big wind came up,smacked the cart right into the side of my car. Raining or not I always put the cart in the coral. I would hate to know that I caused the damage to someones car that was done to mine because of laziness.

I almost always put the cart back. I always take a cart that someone leaves between cars. Usually they are better than the ones in the store. I don't park close to the store. I need all the excersise I can get.

I ALWAYS return it to the proper place. It always makes me mad when people leave the carts in parking spaces. Also, I know from personal experience that it really sucks to have to go and find all the carts everywhere if you are the cart collector for the day. Even when I am with my little niece I always put the cart back. To me, it's all about respect. Respect for the employees of the store and for the other shoppers in the parking lot.

I usually park next to the cart return stalls. It helps me locate my car, plus it's right there after I take the bags out. If I can't park next to one I always return it to the proper place. I have dents and dings on my vehicle from runaway carts rolling into me.

Get this, I bring carts in from the parking lot. And if you park close to the cart corral it makes it easy to stash them there. e are allin this together. rr
