I finally got some Easter photos (her grandmpa took) and "after" bath photos that I took...I know all babies have such cute faces that they make, and I'm totally entranced by Vi...she cracks me up!

Max, Ava and Violet (her cousins)

I took these (not as good, but still cute!)

Jus and Vi sleeping (with a peek of a Miss Wilma feather pillow )

Love the one with Justin, too. They both look so peaceful and angelic.

Thanks, Janice...I like that one, too. When I start to get ready for work after we've had our morning time, and she falls back asleep, I take her in to Jus so that I can hop in the shower. Almost every morning is like this photo for the two of them...really sweet.

I gotta say the one with Jus and Vi is my favorite too! And Miss Wilma used the same fabric for my pillows too, Jonni! We have matching pillows!

There's something about a guy holding a baby, isn't there, Alee? Especially when it's YOUR guy and YOUR baby :)

I love that ticking that Miss Wilma uses....so beautiful. Hard to believe we don't produce that quality textile in this country any longer. Leave it to Germany!!!

Oh my! Wonderful shots, I love Violet just out of the tub, she looks so amazed, and the one of her & Dad sleeping is just too cute.

Thanks, Karin...she's had only a handful of baths since she was born because the first 2-4 times I tried, she screamed like I was killing her and it was soooo stressful for both of us! Now, she really likes them and she acts soooo silly afterwards, wrapping herself up in the towel while she's lying down, and making goofy faces. Cracks me up, she does!

Thank you, Heide...I am very proud--she and her daddy (and our animal clan)...how could one girl get so lucky?

We're still working on the sleep thing...she does seem to require less than OTHER human babies. We are wondering if she is perhaps vulcan...:)

She's is so beautiful, but then again so are your other 2! What a perfect picture of the three of them!
I love babies, they tug at something deep inside of me. Violet's pics did it to me too. {{sigh}} You are such a lucky mom...

Thanks so much, all of you. Violet is such a sweet girl...she is learning so much everyday, and I love that this week she's laughing out loud! She's mastering "ah goo" and it's super adorable.

I love these pics! Violet is so beautiful and I love the one with her cousins. They are beautiful too, sorry to see Ava has a broken arm or something. The one with her dad sleeping is my favorite too. Thanks for sharing!

Oh, Misty! I'm just the slightest bit jealous...I really loved being pregnant with all its mysteries. For a few weeks after Violet was born, I SWEAR I still felt her "moving" inside my tummy. I can't wait to see photos of your little one when born.

Thanks so much for your sweet words!

Thank you sooo much-she's really starting to shine. Talks and coos all day long, with gurgles and has mastered "ahgoo" which is tremendously cute! I'll post another photo that I just took on her 2 month old birthday, or you could just look at the blog at your leisure, so I'm not like "one of those mothers" :)

Ooooo! I love baby pictures! She is so sweet! All the pictures are so adorable! But I can't look too long or I start thinking about having another little one myself! No, no, no!

I hear ya, Kristi...it's getting hard to watch her grow right before my very eyes! She's truly a blessing--and I find myself getting a little wistful when buying the next size in baby clothes....

Jeannie--it's uncanny, isn't it? Ava (in the photo with Violet and Max) looks JUST like my sister-in-law Livvie (Justin's sis) when she was 4, and Justin and Livvie are basically twins. With Ava resembling her mother so,it's like taking photos from 1979 and putting them with Ava's from 2009. Amazing--even Justin mentioned a few nights ago while carrying Violet in the sling that if you look down on her at a certain angle, she looks "like Livvie"...I know her Aunt will love that :)
