Nancy- I am so jealous! I want more cast iron cook ware! Let us know how it does and if it really is good quality please! I might have to follow in your footsteps and buy one!
Just seeing if my blog name comes up. Just washed up the new roaster from dinner, its been in the oven all afternoon.cleaned right up with just a dish rag and dawn.
Nancy, I ordered one of those a few years ago. But mine has the flat lid that has like a grill top. I have used it to grill steaks ans then as a lid for the roaster. It really does cook them nice and juicy. And does hold heat for a long time. And it probably weighs at least 10 pounds. Maybe more. It's heavy for sure. You will love it and it will last forever.
Now I want one of the dutch ovens like they use on the cooking channel. Really handy pot.

I have a set of similar cookware. It is Le creuset. I love the dutch oven. I use it all the time. actually I had another one that I actually wore out. Don't ask!!!! Could you lift the pan with the roast in it??? MB
