I'm looking for fresh or frozen fruits or berries jello. My daughter-in-law is allergic to the dyes used in jello recipes. She is also pregnant and craving jello. hope someone out there can give me some help. |

I have bought agar agar or kanten powder, (same thing,)from asian markets, but have yet to find one on the shelves that doesn't have sugar already added. I have seen it at bulkfoods.com, without sugar, but have not bought it there before. Mary Jane sells chill over powder, which is the same thing.

I bought two boxes of chill over but am still using up my sugary agar. I stock piled it when I moved from the Seattle area to Idaho.

I just made a chillover last night. I really like the stuff. I used blackberries from my freezer added just enough sugar to make it less tart. I have used it to make jam as well.
For tomorrow and its needs I do not pray, but keep me, guide me, love me, Lord just for today. St. Augustine
