Not yet but I know that once I start gardening they will be around. Does anyone have any advice as to getting rid of them.? I would love to plant some greens but it seems that they like those best :(
I have had good luck by putting a piece of wood on the ground and then turning it over first thing in the morning to find them all hiding under there. I shake them into a bucket of hot soapy water. Aren't they awful? I was picking huckleberries with a 90 year old friend of mine this summer and she says that when she was a girl there was not one to be found because they are an "imported" nuisance. Can you imagine? Ugh, they bite too. It takes vigilance.
