You are welcome, Jenny!! Lumby is fun. I read somewhere that this book is not even the best in the series, so if you like it, you can read some of the other ones too. I plan to. When you are done with them, just send them on to someone else. I can never keep all my books because my house is not big enough!! :)

I am reading The Frontiersman's Daughter by Laura Frantz. Seems to be pretty good so far, Christian Fiction.

Maggie,
I love the movies too! I think my favourites are Pride & Predjudice by A&E (the long series) and Emma (with Gwyenth Paltrow). I've seen them countless times.

Right now I am struggling through "Twilight" - you know, the hit teen series and now a movie. I normally do not like vampire stories (I tend to read romances or other types) but my friends told me it was a good book. I am over halfway through (thank goodness it's just a library book) and am wondering if I really want to finish. It is getting lame.

Right now I have two going. New Moon from the Twilight Series and The Forest by Edward Rutherfurd. I've read The Forest before, but it's one of my favs and I'm trying to get into the reading mood. I usually read more during the fall and winter months.

Just finished Time Traveler's Wife..loved it. I am reading Where Does the Wild Goose Go? by Willem Lange right now. I am expecting a couple of new ones in the China bayles series by Susan Wittig Albert soon ( herb shop mysteries) and I went ahead and ordered (on paperback swap) another Lumby book ...the first one I think.

I just started the Friday Night Knitting Club by Kate Jacobs. I hope it's good, because I saw she has another one called Comfort Food.

I am reading nothing! EEK! I've got a few books on hold at the library but they haven't come in yet. Guess I'll go through my shelves and see what I can find.

Jenny: How do you like the Willem Lange book? I have read all of his and really liked them. I usually mixed them in with novels since they are all separate stories.

I just finished Mrs. Mike! Loved it. When I mentioned it to the social studies teacher I work with, she was shocked that I had even heard of it. She reads it every year since she loves it so much! A student's mom got me a copy of The Glass Castle, so I will try that next. This mom always buys me books she thinks I will enjoy.

Martin Chuzzlewit by Charles Dickens. It's from 1844 and hard to get into.
