After reading a bunch of you ladies' posts, I am getting excited about getting chickens again...I had some three or four years ago but the coop was built directly on the dirt floor & my chickens all fell victim to possums...It was gruesome & I was heart broken...but I am ready to renovate the coop & once again awaken to the sound of a rooster.!!!!!!!!But I need to know where I can get organic chicken scratch. I will let them free range most of the time ut I want to supplement their diet.
Suzi, There is a place in Claremont NC called "Shook Poultry". You can go online to find their website. I have just ordered chicks and will go pick them up in April.
