I have been 'living' in Lincoln County (just west of Spokane) and working/staying all week in Moses Lake, WA, for the past three and a half years and I just can't take it any more. DH and I have decided to try and sell the property, take an early retirement, and I am seriously thinking about going to nursing school. I have been accepted at a great school in Ohio and hope to start there this August.

A bit about our place: Asking $229,000, it's almost 20 acres, about half wooded and half pasture, a little creek runs along one border (with fishing), a 1998 double wide manufactured home with professionally installed woodstove, hoop house, 30 x 36 shop with concrete floor, finished, insulated barn - wired and plumbed - 1/3 of the interior has concrete floor with drain "milk room". We also have an old fashioned wood cookstove in the shop but haven't used it yet. We have a well, and they told us it was rated at 16 gpm but would have to get that tested because that seems a bit high for this area, where 5gpm is more common. Septic is fine.

Here's a link with lots of pictures

What do you think?

Can you tell me more about the home itself? How many square feet, bedrooms, etc.?

Sorry, I always seem to forget about the house itself because we have always been so blown away by the property itself. Its a double wide MF home, 52' x 26'8", with decks on front and back, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, open kitchen/living room plan, pretty basic stuff. Big picture window in living room that gives us a wonderful view, sliding glass door from kitchen to back deck. The pictures I posted were taken over the past 3 years, and as soon as the last of the snow melts off around here, the real estate agent will come by and do a full panoramic view with interior pictures.

Our official address is in Davenport because we are like the very last house served from the Davenport post office, but we actually live north of Reardan and have to go through Reardan to get to Davenport.

Thanks!! We have absolutely loved living out here and it's hard to leave but I feel called to a nursing vocation and that means going back to school.

Hey Terri - I didn't know you were from Tonasket - my in laws used to live there and our kids would go over every summer for a super fun vacation! They had a cabin out in the country on a lot of acreage and boy did my kids ever eat that up! Horses, a pond, the whole nine yards - wish we would have bought it when they passed away!
