Whew. It was a process, but the little barn is completed. I have loaded a VIDEO TOUR of it on my Farm Blog, see below! :)

And here's a new mini-heifer I am getting to live in it with my Dexter, Edie. I will call this new girl Cookie (I always called these Oreo cows!). She is at AAA Lowlines in OK. She'll be weaned in May and I am shopping for a tranport for her if you know of anyone. How stinkin' cute is this?
And here's little Edie. She's going to be pasture bred for the summer to a red Dexter bull. Hard to believe she's full grown now. I'll be milking in my barn next spring.

Yeah, it's done! It looks great. Is that as big as Edie will get? You might have to build her a stanchion! She doesn't look much bigger than my goats from here. She sure is pretty and so is your new gal. There are a few of those up the road from me. I never have seen a bull but she had a calf that looks just like her. They might have AI'd her.
You have done a great job on the barn. Thanks for showing the pictures. I was wondering if you were done yet. The weather must be nice there to have all that pretty green grass. Ours is just starting to get thick and green.

Hi Kris,
Yes, Edie is about as tall as she'll get and she is the size of an Oberhasli goat I had! I milked the goat and I was training Edie to a stanchion and she'd be in the other goat stanchion eating hay with Ruth. If you watch the barn video, I show the stanchions inside. Two goat ones and one cow one. But the cow one is obviously way too big. One of the goat stanchions is notched for a wider neck and it was perfect for Edie. :)

That is the cutest little Oreo cow I have ever seen. I am in love! The job you did on the barn is fantastic. You must be so happy living there with you bitty critters.

Dawn! I love your Belted Galloway! My mom saw some last year in Fredericksburg, Texas, and came home to tell us she wanted an Oreo cow. We've been looking high and low in this area for one, but haven't sound one yet. Your barn is great, girl! Way to go!
