Hi Girls,
I am looking for OLD sewing pattern envelopes. You know, the ones with the cute illustrations. NOT photos.
They don't have to contain patterns.
Will swap for hand knit face cloths, yarn, knitting magazines
Thanks,
Michele

Hi! What kind of shape do they have to be in? Pristine or is a little beat up okay?

Hi girls,
I guess I'm looking for 40s, 50s or 60s
as long as they are the envelopes with drawings and not photos
and they do not have to be in pristine condition
I especially love he ones with aprons and childrens or the very elegant ladies on the 60s ones.
Thanks bunches
Michele

I'm assuming you want them for personal projects...if so, then as you decide on which ones to use take them in to a copy center and make lazer copies of them and use those in your projects..that way you preserve the original and can enjoy another project with them later on. Most copy centers will let you provide your own *photo quality* paper for the copies.

I'm a vintage pattern and envelope collector too. So I totally understand the passion!

Good luck,
Stephanie

Tami,
I am not sure what I plan to do with them I just know that I'm crazy about them.
But if I come up with any great ideas I'll share them here.

Kelly,
That's a great idea.
Now if you could only see them in the mess that is my sewing room.
I dream of a neat and tidy little room with all kinds of sweet decos and pin cushions and all my fabric sorted; but then I get in there and start thinking about projects and do a little sewing and the organization goes by the wayside ha

Yes, that is a great idea, Kelley, I will have to be on the lookout for some old ones to do that with. Thanks for the idea.
