My sister and I will be in Northern Virginia, near the Washington Dulles Airport, April 17th and 18th.
We are taking a bra making class. Yes I am driving almost 4 hours just to take a class.
Well, as usual I lost the link to register for class so I searched the web and came across this site.

http://www.quiltersofsc.org/
Click on The Artfull Bra Project.

They are the "Quilters of South Carolina"

Not only are they creative but it was for a great cause.
Take a look. That looks like it must have been fun!!

The bras are great!!! You should have the best time. Can't wait to see what you do with your bra.

Oh...I will not be making a bra like what I posted. I just came across that site when I was trying to find the correct registration site for my bra making class.
I will be making a traditional bra. I am told the instructor is very good and that the bra I will be making will be the best fitting bra I ever owned. We will see.

when you get the info, could you please pass it along? my girls are a little on the large size and i am currently paying $40+ for bras that fit. i've looked all over for bra patterns, but have only been able to find retro cone-ish ones that are compleatly unsuitable for the modern silohette. i would love to learn to make my own bras so that i can create little summer dresses and tops with built-in support.

Corrine,
I understand completely! I am one that can spend up to $40.00 too. And the one thing I hate the most is if I do not purchase 4 or 5 at a time, I can never find that style and fit again the next time I shop.
.....OH to be a nice perky 32B........I live in the world of DD droup.......
