My sister and I will be in Northern Virginia, near the Washington Dulles Airport, April 17th and 18th. We are taking a bra making class. Yes I am driving almost 4 hours just to take a class. Well, as usual I lost the link to register for class so I searched the web and came across this site.
http://www.quiltersofsc.org/ Click on The Artfull Bra Project.
They are the "Quilters of South Carolina" http://www.quiltersofsc.org/artfullbras/artfullbras.htm Not only are they creative but it was for a great cause. Take a look. That looks like it must have been fun!!

Oh...I will not be making a bra like what I posted. I just came across that site when I was trying to find the correct registration site for my bra making class. I will be making a traditional bra. I am told the instructor is very good and that the bra I will be making will be the best fitting bra I ever owned. We will see.

when you get the info, could you please pass it along? my girls are a little on the large size and i am currently paying $40+ for bras that fit. i've looked all over for bra patterns, but have only been able to find retro cone-ish ones that are compleatly unsuitable for the modern silohette. i would love to learn to make my own bras so that i can create little summer dresses and tops with built-in support.

Corrine, I understand completely! I am one that can spend up to $40.00 too. And the one thing I hate the most is if I do not purchase 4 or 5 at a time, I can never find that style and fit again the next time I shop. .....OH to be a nice perky 32B........I live in the world of DD droup.......
