Brenda aka pastblessings has been under the weather for such a long time and yesterday her dear husband had to take her to the hospital where they kept her over night worried that it was her heart that was the cause of her illness...thankfully the Doctors ruled out her heart and are now looking at her gallbladder/kidney/liver to see what might be the underlying problem...
Brenda was hosting a Farm Girl Tea & Quilt get together for this Sat., Feb., 28th. This get together has been canceled & I have tried to get an email out to all who were planning on attending. If I missed anyone, I so appologize.
I'll keep you updated on Brenda but for now please keep Brenda and her family in your prayers.

My prayers go out to Brenda that God will give the doctors wisdom to figure out what the problem is, and that she has healing and comfort.

Brenda is a really sweet person - she hosted Sissyquilts and I in her RV at the spring get-together at MJF and was extremely gracious. Prayers and good thoughts going her way!

I miss my "junctiquing buddy....
I called Brenda's home this morning, but no answer so I suspect she is still at the hospital undergoing more tests...I will call later this evening to get an update from her DH.

Just got off the phone w/Ron. He said the hospital released Brenda last night around 10:30pm....she has been home sleeping all day. The doctors are stymied...and can not pinpoint what is causing all of Brenda's pain. But at least she is back home in the loving arms of her family.
Ron expressed on Brenda's behalf, Heartfelt Thanks for all the love, prayers and emails for Brenda.
Brenda truly is a sweetheart, a wonderful Christian Lady and I consider my self blessed to call her my friend.

Thank you all so much for your sweet words and prayers. As Grace let you know, I am home from the hospital. The eliminated anything heart related (after turning me into a living pin cushion . . . LOL!) and at this point we think it may be the esophagus . . . either it is infected from the pneumonia or it may just be irritated. Either way, while it is horribly uncomfortable, it is not life threatening by any means. I am being careful not to eat much and what I do eat, is small and bland, so as to let it heal. At this point, I am just ready for spring and dying to get my fingers in the dirt!
Thanks again for your kind farmgirl spirits!

Rene Groom and hubby spent yesterday and last night here at the farm. Everyone here pooled together our prayers (and pens) and have a GET WELL SOON gift on its way to you Brenda. When Rene was getting ready to leave this morning, she was going to head to the hospital to drop off our little gift and BIG love but now that you're home, we'll mail it to you on Monday. We're thinking of you and pulling for you. We know you can do it!!!!! Be well. Be happy. We love you, Brenda.
