I got the results from the doctor today. I found out that I now have esophageal cancer in the Barrett's section. They are going to do an endoscopy ultrasound on March 3rd to find what stage cancer it is. The GI doctor said surgery would happen in the best case scenario and when I asked him about chemotherapy he said if it were him he probably would. It will all depend on what they find on the ultrasound next week. Thanks so much for keeping me in your prayers.

Lainey. I am so sorry that the results were not good. The Dr. has been keeping a good eye on things so that means they have caught it early I would hope. So I am praying that all goes very well for you and that you are well soon. Please keep us posted.

Very good that things have been detected early! My dad is a cancer survivor-he had esophagial cancer 25 yrs ago- never had a recurrance after surgery and 6 mos of chemotherapy! That was unheard of back then- he is 83 now and in very good shape!!!

Please let the doc's do their job and let the farmgirls to their's. We are here for you each and every step of the way- lean on us when you need and we will all be lifting you up in prayer and possitive thoughts. We are in this together- and we will stick by you!

Well I didn't expect to read this. So sorry Lainey. Wish they didn't make you wait another week for further tests. That can't be easy for you. I know I hate waiting. I'm thinking only positive thoughts for you, and that everything will turn out fine.
