DUH....I didn't look at the rest of the posts!!!! She's GORGEOUS and FebVi....you are the best looking MOM after delivery I've ever seen! You had a rosy glow and now I know where little Violet gets her good looks! What a darling baby!!!!! I wish I could hold her...babies bring tears to my eyes....WOW! How wonderful! I am a grandmother but I have never gotten over the miracle of it all and those sweet, sweet babies fresh from heaven!
I hope you and Violet are getting your rest and taking LOTS of pictures because we will all want to see more and more! Remember....it takes a village to raise a child and we are all here for you! You're stuck with us now! Hugs and kisses!!!!

Congratulations! What a beautiful baby! We got a new baby too this week! A girl also. I have been busy with my daughter so today was the first day I got to go and spoil her. I will make sure she loves her Aunt Joy. :)

what a beautiful morning we are having here! thank you jus and jonni for taking the time to take pics and share them with us here. it has definitely made our morning shine, here at the farm.
violet is a beautiful little girl and i have to agree with those that think her mom and dad look wonderful and almost look like an "ad" for good hospital care.

| I couldn't sleep so I decided to go to my favorite site the MJFgirls and started reading about getting the room ready for violet. That she was comming on Friday. I was so excited because today is friday, Then I noticed the dates and realized it was last friday. I started to read some of what others wrote and I was so excited to find that your beautiful baby was already in pictures. She is so beautiful and what a lucky little lady to have a set of parents who will love everything about her and she's got to love the room you created, it also is beautiful. |

Hello all!!!!!
I am hopping on to say hello, and to thank you all for your wonderful and overwhelmingly warm wishes and hopes for our little family. We are all doing well--Violet sleeps about 4 hours at a time, and Jus and I take turns getting up with her. She had a bit of a scare with her hemocrit levels on the day we were supposed to be released from the hospital, but she is all fine now, and is an incredibly joyful, beautiful and amazing little love. Justin and I are in awe of her, which is mostly why I haven't been on the forum...I have literally savored every single moment I've had with her this week. We even celebrated her week old birthday, to the minute (8:31 pm) with a dance party (me, Violet and the dogs) listening to Simon and Garfunkel, who's songs I've been singing all week long as lullabies. She loves singing (even mine), though her father is MUCH better  ...and boy-howdy does her daddy love her. He says his heart "bursts" everytime he looks at her. Personally, I didn't know that I could love anyone more. I've been on the verge of tears all week, thinking of how amazing it is, that we were plucked from the universe to be her mommy and daddy--how humbling.
I will ablige with photos....we've gotten some new ones, and she surely changes everyday. Some of these are when she's not even an hour old, then her first and second days, and a couple from the week. Hopefully I'm not going to overwhelm anyone with baby photos!!!!

She's beautiful!! You are not helping me with my baby lust. Cuddle her close and remember you can't "spoil" a baby or love them too much. Have fun.
