Does anyone do trucking, specifically low boy hauling? We have one of our tractors down in NV and want to find a back haul. I thought this would be a good way to patronize a fellow farmgirl's family by checking here. Please let me know (even if it isn't a farmgirl's family) as we are in need to get our tractor home to north central Idaho. Cindy

You could e-mail Gone Riding. She may know. She's got a post on this thread somewhere, but someone else may know it. I had to ask my hubby what it was before I looked here. He's a trucker. But not that kind.

gramadinah might know as well. She is in the trucking industry. I would suggest emailing her through the forum in case she doesn't see this thread.

Cindy we only haul referigerated stuff we have a way to look up and find a truck but I would have no connection to them only would put you in conntact with them. How big is it and does it run?
I haven't heard from anyone and am in real need of finding a lowboy trucker.....anyone know of someone we can call? We need to make arrangements to try to get a back haul sometime next week if possible as we need to get the tractor home to begin spring ground work to get hay ground worked/planted. The guys we've used over the years have either sold out or moved on so we don't have anyone. We'd really appreciate your help. If you don't want to post the info, please email me directly, I don't mind at all.

Diana I haven't for got you just I wanted to get you some names for you to contact.
Diana, neither DH nor I know what a hot shot truck is, however the tractor weighs right about 11 tons.

A hot shot truck is a Large engined Pick up usually has the Duels on the back and can haul large amounts of freight. But if your tractor weighs that much it is about 2000 lbs more than they usually can handle. Sorry I can't seem to help.
