Ladies,
I'm not sure why I had to register again, but all is well and I can post again.
I went to Hobby Lobby and got a hat box to keep my penpal letters in. It is large (I'm expecting alot of mail) with roosters all around it and a rooster on a chair on the lid. It's really nice but I was looking for something with a red hen (as in little red hen) on it. For quite a few years I've told my daughters that I'm that little red hen, and I'll do it myself.

That is a cute idea. Right now I have all my pen pal letters in my desk drawer and it is getting crowded in there.
I have some extra decorated boxes I could use for this. I was wondering what to do with them. Thanks for the idea!

Brenda, I received your letter today, a great little pick me upper. You make me feel like we've known each other for years.
To all the other farmgirls out there, this is the best place to come and connect with like spirits and I'm so happy to beable to be apart of this. Many, many thanks for being in your company.

I don't care if they are late or on time. I just enjoy letters.
I went out and bought some hatboxes too. Except mine are like flip top boxes. Gorgeous flower wallpaper on them. Yea for Marshals!!

My goodness. You have been a busy bee. But I've done that before myself. Once you get on a roll.
I am going to Maundy Thursday service tonight. It is a meal followed by a service. Not been to anything like this before.
I probably won't write more letters until Monday. I'll be looking for your letters.
