I just purchased Clover's yo-yo maker (extra large). I had no idea making yo-yo's could be so fun and addictive. I'll be keeping my eye out for the next swap!

I just mailed out some yoyos yesterday and am still working on the rest. I have been trying to get everything done and am falling behind. There was the prom dress to make that didnt make it to the prom because of an accident (dd is fine) and graduation with an open house in a couple of weeks on top of the regular stuff!! I will get them all out!!!

Marcy - I'm still working on mine too - about half done so far - this time of year always gets me, birthdays, family reunions, rototilling, plumbing problems, fence falling down, so I'm running late but better late than never!!

Received yo-yo-s from Marcy and Lorie.
Thank you.

Mine will be a gift to someone that is making a quilt. I will mostly likely whip up 25 or so more. I have lots of scrap fabric. And these are so quick and easy, I can stitch them while taking lunch.

I really want a tablecloth but know it will be many more swaps down the road so I am going to stitch these all together in a rectangle shape and use it for a curtain on my backdoor window but still be able to add to it later for my tablecloth.

Ok ladies are do you lay them out and get them just right before you stitch them together or just draw them out of a bag as you go and stitch? My brain wants me to lay them out and fret over the placement and my Farmgirl heart says just pull them out of a bag and stitch who cares there are 2 red ones together.

Sue,
Hope you are beginning to feel better. Pneumonia is the pits, I was down with it this past winter and can't remember ever feeling so bad. Hope you are on the mend.

I'm still working on mine - I think I mentioned before I'm running behind. I promise they are on the way - this is a really busy time of year anyway with the garden and the chickens and I am ending up working about 20 percent above and beyond the 40 hours that my salary covers during May and June so....I'm sorry everyone, I really really will make my best effort to get them in the mail next week. I promise I'm not flaking them off

Don't apologize for being busy.
This is supposed to be fun.
Just think how surprised and happy I will be when I get my yoyos from you.
It's just not a big deal so relax and get them out when you can

I love all the pretty Yoyo's!! Has anyone else been stitching them together? I decided to keep them all in the envelopes and then pull out 1 envelope at a time and stitch those 5 together then stitch the strips together so that one row is from each Farmgirl. In my crazy mind it is a lot less overwhelming to stitch 5 yoyo's at a time together than have 50 to do. So far I have half of them stitched together.

Thanks for being so nice Michele - we will just call it a "Random Act of Yoyo-ing" swap. Actually I made good progress today; I work so much better when my house is really clean
