Hi Kathy,
I dropped off my charms at the post office today.
Hopefully you'll have them by Saturday.

Take care, Melissa.

Kathy- I just went and took the class at the local quilt shop to be able to run the long arm. It was a blast! You should really give it a try. I have 2 quilt tops that I will be renting time for. I am so excited to get my pinks.

Kathy,
Wow...look at all those names on the list. Good job at running this swap. Thanks for keeping it up to date with when you recieved our charms too. Can't wait to see all those different fabrics from our farmgirl sisters. Thanks again.

Sorry about that Barb!!!
I fixed it. Thank you for letting me know. If there is anyone else I forgot to add please tell me.

Ladies!!!!! We are getting close to the due date!!!

To be honest with you all, I have not cut my charms yet. My fabric is washed and pressed. Waiting to be cut.
How is everyone one else doing???

Remember; if you are not going to be able to fulfill your obligation please let me know. I understand completely. I myself am involved in a couple other swaps. They can gang up on you if you're not careful.

Pamela, I understand! Something like that went around the office. So far I have avoided it.
I have been so busy at work that I dont have time for lunch! I have had my fabric for a few weeks now. It took me that long to wash iron and cut it.
I try to keep it lite and remind everyone of the due date. We have a few ladies that are on the ball. And we have a few ladies that forget until the very last moment. And we have ladies that have so many things going on, its a wonder they can remember their own names. So, I understand.

I just realized that I have (I think) 820 charms in envelopes, sitting in a large basket, waiting for me to sort and swap....
HOLY COW!!!!!!I have not opened all the envelopes. Only those that I was unsure of whos they were.

Thanks for waiting for my ffabric and I can not wait to see them all.

Ladies, (those that have not sent me their charms)
It is Wednesday March 25th, 1:15 pm EST.
If I do not hear from you by this evening I am going to assume that you will not be sending me your charms. Life happens! I understand.

If you did mail your charms and your name has not been marked, please let me know. Either I forgot to mark off your name, or they are just slow in coming. I will wait for your package.
Other then that, I will sort all the charms that I have received by Friday March 27th. I would like to have them all mailed on Saturday, March 28th.

I had a request to host another charm swap. I hope you all will join in again. Tell a friend or two. I will post details next month. It will be the same as this one but with a different color scheme.

Now, I truly enjoy hosting these swaps. The hostess is just one person. It's all of you that make a swap successful. If directions are followed correctly. If directions are written so you can understand them. If items are sent in on time. If items are swapped and returned on time. That is what makes a swap so much fun, enjoyable and successful.

I love to see all the different fabrics. And I think I really enjoy seeing where they come from. I am a NJ girl. Born and raised. I don’t travel too far. Mostly just over to state line into PA. When I get packages form ND or TX, it gets my mind wondering how your lives differ and how alike we all are.

I hope you all have a great week. And if all goes well, most of you will have a package of charms at your door this time next week.
