Watching my nephew chop and stack wood for me. He had fun and I'll be warm!

For tomorrow and its needs I do not pray, but keep me, guide me, love me, Lord just for today.

Seeing three of my children working together at the kitchen counter preparing food for our guests. Isaac (age 11) peeling the apples for applecrisp and Nolan (age 13), cutting up the apples and Abby, age 9, making cake for our birthday guest.
Warm wishes,

My new farmgirl friend HeatherAnn bringing her kids to my house today to meet my little girl. A long playdate that was fun for everyone...I think I hear two little farmgirls in training, and a farmboy too!

My simple joy today has been curled up on the sofa with a quilt over me, and journaling with Abigail the beagle all wedge in between me and the sofa... under the quilt of course! I think I'll go back to that shortly!

Surveying the kitchen I stayed up all night cleaning. With all the canning and processing it has been a real mess. But I got it cleaned up last night and it gave me such a sense of peace to see it all clean and shiney when I got up this morning.

A person is a success if they get up in the morning and get to bed at night and in between does what they want to do. Bob Dylan

Cuddle time with my Pup.

I sit on the rug in the livingroom and call "Cuddle Time!" to Tirzah and she comes and plops in my lap :)

My DD crying when it was time to leave her friend's house. Do you remember a time when you had so much *fun* with a friend that you cried when it was time to go home, even if you could see them again any time you wanted to? So much love from such a little girl.
