I need to "age" some wood clothespins for a project I am doing. Does anyone have any ideas how to make new wood clothespins look old and grey? I have some that have been hanging outside for about a month and occassionally I wet them down but no luck. They still look new. Anyone have any ideas??

throw em in a few loads of wash, soak em in a mug of water used to wash your paintbrush from accrylic paints, black, blue wash water
