Mine is almost finished too....just finishing up the final details. Linda said she likes eclectic, funky, feminine dolls...and that I could surprise her....LOL, hope the doll I made is something she likes!

that doll is cute wished I could make them like that not so good on dollies and I like big projects best seem to have more patience for them

Carrie-- a great pattern to start with (well at the least the one I started with ) was a kit from JoAnns with a pillowcase dolly from the Jack Dempsey collection. It took me a bit to get used to working with such a small project, but now I think I am truly addicted.
At first, I only did jsut as the pattern says, but now, with Linda's encouragement, my dollys are getting more personality with things like faces and hair. You can see a couple of them that I have done on my blog. I wanted to join the swap, but it just didn't work out for me this time. Maybe next time around though. Everyone is doing such a beautiful job!!!
