| Ice fog is when the moisture in the air gets supercooled and freezes into tiny little crystals in mid-air. It was so cold, so quick here. Plus this little area has drainage ditches all around the fields where the fog was. The ditches are so full from all the rain we had just before Christmas. (Torrents of it) In fact, we had a terrible wind/storm here just after Christmas that knocked out power all over. The water was so saturated in the land that our sump quit working from the storm and our basement started to flood! It's been pretty wacky here. |
