AnnieT,did you embroider the dolly aprons for the Miss Frannie's class or for other dolls. I was just wondering,as to the size, not knowing the size fo Frannie's dolls. Does that make sense?

Julia, if you go back thru this thread and find the photo Frannie posted of her dolly aprons, she mentions somewhere that she makes hers about 5" x 7". I did my big one a lot bigger, and the others are about 6x8 or 7x9 so I'll have some extra to work with.

Jenn, You're probably fine. Frannie went to Ohio this morning for a week, so you might not hear back from her for a while. She says "class" will start on the 25th, I believe.

hey farmgirls .. i'm in ohio .. using daughter's computer ... with little lucas tugging at me to 'go play in the SNOW' that arrived this morning!

make several little embroidered aprons in various sizes .. they are such fun to stitch .. and you can always make the extras into little pillows or bags .. we'll talk about how to do this too if you make some and remind me as we get into our dolly project.

never too late for anyone to join us . jus' e-mail me .. it'll be waiting there for when i get home.

WELL .. lucas is giving me to THREE to get off this machine and come play .. and he is at 4-1/2 NOW .. so .. talk at ya' soon! xoxoxo

Hi Frannie,

I tea dyed my muslin and osnaberg over the weekend. Husband walked by the huge pot full of tea and just said, "Is this another hobby?" He's so cute. He lives with my projects all over the place. Can't wait to get started. Yeah!!

I embroidered some aprons for my dollies. One has a crow on a branch. around it says Blessing to Thee. One says "Plant seeds,Pull weeds,Grow love." the other says "There's a song in my heart". Actually, the heart is embroidered. So, I am ready to go! Can't wait! Thanks again Miss Frannie and welcome home!

I am so looking forward to starting my dollie. I have some of my supplies already and I have more fabric than I need so I'm going to pick through it and find some for her clothes. My daughter said she would try one with me , YAY.

Frannie glad your back, can't wait for the email with the pattern.

finished up four more dollies today .. AND .. made the pattern for you Cabin Fever Dolly class gurlz! have to put a few 'structions' with it and get it to the copy machine .. but want to make up a couple samples from it first .. to make sure this is the one i want to teach ya' with! soon! soon!

meanwhile .. here are MONICA AND MONIQUE

hair is sheep's wool .. dresses are two sweet little teensy rose patterns .. undroos and aprons are vintage doily. olde button eyes, applique pink nose (from an antique dolly slip that was tattered) and tiny little stitch mouth. and .. they have a little heart-shaped pocket .. will tuck some herbs inside! great for valentine's day! xo
