Recipes for homemade laundry soap is easy to find. What about a homemade recipe for fabric softener? I'm ashamed to say :) that I love using perfumed fabric softeners. My mother never did, but my grandma always did, so for me the smell reminds me of going to Grandma's house.
Anyone know of any recipes?

I would love to know the answer to this too. I hate when my clothes are stiff as a board when I take them off the line, but I am severly allergic to perfumed/ store bought fabric softeners of any kind. hugs

I too, would love to know a recipe for fabric softener... I love to hang clothes on the line. I will definitely use the vinegar trick to see how I like it.
