I recieved this book for Christmas, from my DC, (ddmash.)
I am enjoying reading it. It is about quilting, and the peoples lives, and what brings them together.
Has anyone else read this?

I love these books too! I have a hefty commute to work and I get books on CD from the library to make the time go faster and these are some of my favorites.

I'm a quilter and I have a few of the books, I think they are a lot of fun to read. I'm always looking for them on sale to add to my collection.

Michele, I'm glad you've started reading your books! I haven't gotten to read the first 3 that I sent you for Christmas. Our library doesn't have them yet. I think I'll ask them to order them for me. I didn't read the books in the order they were written. They are always checked out at the library. I really hope you enjoy them, the rest of the series is superb!

I just finished the new book about "Anna" the new cook. It is loaded with all the recipes they talk about in the other books. I can't wait to try a few of them out. I hope you get the new book Jenny.

I got the new book yesterday with my gift card!! yay!! Havn't started it yet..but it looks wonderful. I read on her website that a new one is coming out in April too. I realized that I don't have the New Years Quilt one either..will have to find it separate from the Christmas quilt..which I do have. They only had the combo at Band N yesterday. I managed to find other books I wanted though...heehee

I really need to look at a list of all the books the author has written of this series & see which ones are left for me to read. I have been reading the large print books at the library & there isn't a list of previous books in those books. I can't wait for the new book. Thanks for telling us about when it is coming out Jenny.

Keep reading Michele, there's about 20 of these books!

Oh, I love these books! I'm not a quilter, but it's neat anyway. I enjoy the history, but I would also enjoy hearing more about the quilter's lives. Like how does Sylvia's new stepchildren like her now? How is Sarah doing with her pregnancy? Will Summer come back from college any different?

Blessings!

I LOVE this series. They are addicting! I've gotten behind though so I need to get caught up on the new ones. I love "The Sugar Camp Quilt" the best. Glad to see other people enjoy them as well.

Best farm wishes

Wow, I just counted how many quilt books there are now, 19. I didn't realize there were so many. Thanks again to Dutchy for the authors website. Now I have to get busy and make a list of the ones I haven't read yet!

I love these books. I have read them all except The Christmas Quilt. I have to say to me The Homecoming Quilt was my least favorite. But between all the rest it is hard to pick a favorite. They are all special for different reasons. When Dawn said there are now 19 I had to go look for myself, which there are 19 counting the actual quilting books, but I did see where a new one is set to release on March 31. Can't wait. I am bad to spend more time reading about quilting than actually quilting.

I got the first 3 for Christmas, from dd m. And have read the next two. But the first 3 stories have now been read by my mom, and my sister. My other sister in Montana, has started reading them also. So I am waiting for number 6 and 7. My mom has them checked out. Our town libary is small, and you can order the books you want to read. They send them from other libaries around the area.

Just ordered the first 7 in the series, 1-3 and 4-6 are in one book and cost about the same for the one as compared to buying all 3, so not a bad deal. Anxious for them to come and start on them!!!

I just finished number 7, the Christmas quilt. I have enjoyed them all so far. My problem is, that once I start reading a book, I have trouble putting it down.

My books came!!! The first 7 so I can start this weekend. Just finished an Amish series, which was great. The first 3 came in one book for like $14.00 from Barnes & Noble so not a bad price for anyone just checking them out, also got 4-6 the same way. Happy reading everyone!!1
