I finally started at the beginning and read "The Quilter's Apprentice". Thanks again to Marion (Dutchy) for the website list. I am going to buy the new book that comes out this Sunday! I can't wait to read it!

Wow Rae, you do have it bad! I'm trying to ignore the one I'm reading right now so I can get the house cleaning done and go outside. It is a beautiful & sunny day, so I need to get out there and work!

Keep reading & enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!

I am half way through #7!!! Number 6 was a bit confusing the way it was written at first I thought but once I got through it, it all made sense.

We have been reading those books in order as well. Though it seems kind of funny, cause they really don't seem to be in order??? We are taking a break from quilting books right now. Will get back to them though. we read through number 10.

They do jump around but it makes sense in a way, being introduced to the character and then goes back for more detail. I started #8 last night and finish series and then go on to a different book. I think some Amish stories were next on my list :-)

Hi Girls! I've read all the Elm Creek Quilt Books. They're excellent! I'm waiting for Lone Quilter to come out in April!

I love these books. I went to a quilt retreat last fall and many of the women had read these too.

I just finished the newest book too, "The Lost Quilter". It turned out to be pretty good, though I did get tired of it and set it down for a few days. Once I started reading it again, I couldn't put it down. I'll be curious to hear what others think of this book.

I really enjoyed it as I wondered what had happened to her once the slave traders had taken her. I was already curious after the book that introduced her

Thanks for the tip, Rae. I am now waiting on The Quilter's Apprentice at my local library. There's 5 in line ahead of me. Now that is the first one, right?

I have 3 of the books and need to get the others, but can't seem to find them here. I hate ordering anything online asI just don't trust it. But from what I've seen, I will enjoy all of these books.

Kay,
I got mine online through Barnes and Noble. The first 6 books are in 2 books as they come 3 in 1 and were only around $14. I have the member card there, $25 a year but get that back in savings. The books often are cheaper online and with any $25 order it is free shipping. I live 60 miles from any book store so this is my way of shopping, plus as I said usually cheaper.
