We are having such fun now aren't we. I have a fabric, and have a couple of ideas. First, have to dig out the sewing room, and truly it needs dug out!!!!!!!! LOL
That was fun looking at patterns.

Linda, I liked your sign.

Morning Glories!

ok.. shush.. I'm not Braggin' or anything although I COULD sit outside with my Tea this Morning IFIN I were So inclined....
& the Rest of you Chickes are lost in the Snow stillll..

The weather outside is delightful.. & ohh i wish you all were here!!
ok.. i'll stop.. ! OK! ADDING MORE NAMES!!!

So.. I think We'll Close the sign up as of.. umm.. as I lean out of my chair reaching for the calander & fall on my butt.. !
ummmmmm.. how about The Friday the 1st Which will be January 2nd, 2009.
Yes.. January 2nd is the Last day to sign up! Cool?
Cool.. let me go add all the new names..

Recapping guidelines..

Make a Mini For everyone on the List PLUS ONE For MARY JANE..
Once your Finished.. You Mail them all off to me.. In a nice envelope..
Inculde An additional Self addressed envelope that ALSO has the aproximate Same Postage on it that it cost you to send yours to me!
(As it SHOULD cost me about the same amount to ship YOUR NEW MINI'S Back to you, that it cost YOU to send YOURS to me! ) Brilliant Idea that Our Jessi Poo came up with Last year or so..

I know.. This is about as confusing as My husbands Family Reunion In West Verginia. Meet My Brother.. Uncle Bob..

Sorry.. I coudln't resist..

Ok.. Hope that cleared things up a bit!

Love ya Girls..!

Hoping you all had a WONDERFUL Christmas!

Oh my.. Jennifer.. I forgot what an Over acheiver you were woman!
Look at all the Tea Towels ! Whew! I had to sit down for a bit after think about everything you were up to! wore me out girl!

Well I've Found my Fabric Girls! I think it's pretty Cute!
Hope your all gonna get a kick out of it too! Got them all cut out a couple night ago.. So now I just need to squeeze my way onto the sewing room & actually Find a machine & get busy! Wow.. If you could SEE this room! You'd all run screaming!
This room is a Sight!
I use the walk in closet in there for my Christmas decorations.. so everything in front of that door has been moved aside.. So right now...
The entire room looks as if it's just puked fabric & craft crap all over the place.. Poor little room.. Take pity on it..

Then to make matters worse.. I think i may have mentioned that My daughter moved back home wit us a couple months ago..
yes.. well we decided to get cable put in her bedroom.. this would be to keep her IN her Bedroom & out of Ours & the living room..
I've come to a realization.. I don't quite like her anymore..
Not living at my house anyway..
So.. moving forward..
The cable man came out.. excuze me. SATALITE man.. came out..
Did you know he can't just ADD a new box.. but instead.. had to actually 'connect' from another box.. Would you like to know where that other box was that the poor little man was that he actually wanted to connect from? are you all sitting there with mouths open wide saying ohhhhh nooo.. he Not? because Yes.. Thats what I said too..
The man wanted to try to squeeze himself into my sewing room..
Butch Baby was mortified.. I told him to get over himself..
I said Did YOU know he was going in there??
I said because I didn't know he was going to have to go in there!
If i DID don't you think I would have scheduled a Back Hoe!
Ok then.. Back off man! Let me clear a path for the guy.. & DON'T stand there shaking that shiny head of yours at me.!
I told the SATALITE man to go drink a Root Beer or Something & pretend he had something to do!
So I was like A Crazy freaking Mad Woman Shuffeling Spiders & Crickets & Mealworms & Frogs & Lizards.. & Lights! AND Bins of Fabric And Arm loads of Fabric & handfuls of fabric & bobbins are flying everywhere & pincushins are bouncing off the walls.. & spools of thead is rolling everywhere.. Finally I said.. OK Give it a try.. Come on.. see if you can fit n here.. And he squeezed past me.. No more then one person could actually stay comfortably in the room at the same time.. & Odie.. the little Border Collie refused to leave the room.. so He wedged his dumb butt under the sewing table & stood watch.. The Guy was in there forever..
My Husband just kept walking through the kitchen giving me dirty looks.
What ever.. There's cable now in The Girl Childs room.. !

New girls! be sure to check out Bonne's links....my all time favorites are the cowgirl/western ones. So many of them are really clever or fancy. For my western minis I used old denim and tore the edges...no real seams. My halloween ones were made from thin muslin with plastic spiders sewn on.

Christmas/Winter does give us a chance to use nice fabrics.
must go fabric shopping now!!

Okay, I'm getting excited. I found a pattern I'm happy about and now I'm going to search my stash for a good fabric before I go buy any more fabric. I'll look at the first page to see exactly how many we're making. What's our deadline?

I'm already picturing them across my kitchen window :)

Kathie~That story was too funny.

Yes, about the size of your palm is how we gauge. Other than that, free wheel it staying to the theme.
I was pulling out lace today seeing what I could use. I'm so proud of you Jess!! It's still Dec. even! lol
