After de-cluttering the linen closet I came across a table loom I bought at auction many years ago...No manufacturer label or instructions. Anyone have any idea what I have? I would love to have some simple instructions on how to get started as I have no clue about weaving and am very interested in learning!
Thank you ladies!
I will post photos of the loom on my blog melodynotes-melodynotes.blogspot.com
This is called a 4-harness table loom. I don't have any instructions, but if you search the web for 4-harness looms you should be able to find some info.

It does appear that you have a 4 harness table loom. I am a self taught weaver for about 20 years now. I purchased a book "Learning to Weave" by Deborah Chandler. It gave step by step instructions on how to warp your loom and begin very basic weaving lessons to a tibit on some intermediate weave structures. I found a local weaving guild in my area that gave me further help. The old timers are wonderful teachers and are helpful with their little secrets.
Hope this is helpful!

Deborah Chandler also has a DVD on beginning weaving on a 4 harness loom. It is very good and takes you step by step. Your loom is very nice and it looks like you just need to tie up to the front and start weaving. Looks like most of the warping is done for you.
I have 3 Toika looms, the table model and the floor model is 4 harness. I put up some pictures on my blog. It looks like you are so close to be able to start weaving...hope you can find the information that you need.
