Miss Wilma! What's the weather like down your way? We had snow here, but the roads are very icy. I'll be starting out early, so I just want to check the "weather" report for Knob Lick.

Hey ya'll, I sure wish I cuold have come, too. I send you all a happy hello and I hope ya'll have the best time up there. I want to see some pictures now!!!

I am hoping to be able to come in the spring. Hopefully it will be before goat babies come at the end of April??!!??? Just a hint. I'll start drying them all up at the end of Feb. So I'll be more able to do things then. Again, just a little HINT!

Ya'll have a great time and Merry Christmas, ya'll!

Wilma - I'm sending you an email about something I looked at yesterday that I'm interested in. ;) You're probably on the road for your next roadtrip - you sure burn rubber up and down the highway! :D I took a few pics and I'll try to get them posted later. We all had such a great time! I think Susan is now a permanent member of the 'country club'.

What fun we did have! Such a great way to boost anyone's holiday spirit, that may have had a little trouble getting it started (ahem...me!)!! Miss Wilma's shop was so warm, and wonderful--all decorated in reds and green, and fresh holly and greens everywhere. She should simply give workshops on HOW to make your home more welcoming--both in decoration AND in spirit!

I bought the cutest handmade stocking ornaments, and some wonderful handmade quilted stars, and ice skates (like the ones in the Nov/Dec MJF Issue), all by Miss Wilma, I think for co-workers...but we'll see if they make it out of my house and into gift bags for them! What a pleasure it is to give handmade items...and because I'm so artistically challenged, I will let Wilma do all the "magic" for me from now on :)

Donna (and "K") it was truly wonderful to meet you both, and hope you had safe travels back home. So nice to be with everyone on such a chilly, but beautiful Bluegrass afternoon!!!

I am so sorry to have missed it. I talked to Pam later that day & she said Sam was saying that he still wanted to go (he was sick), but later on he admitted "well I guess maybe it was better just for me to stay in my house today".. Were the roads OK there??? I went to the grocery about 5:30 & they were icy here. Pam said maybe we could come see you over Christmas break since Sam will be out of school. miss wilma, is your mailing address the same one that is posted on your website???

Wilma - I just sent you another email. I had lunch with Susan and she has a question about something that she looked at yesterday. ;) We went to an antique mall today at lunch, and it was a big letdown compared to being in your shop yesterday!

Yesterday was such a wonderful start to my holiday season. Miss K and I had a fabulous time meeting Miss Wilma, Jonnie, Janice, Susan and Tammy. It was great seeing Luna again and chatting with Alan.

Miss Wilma, Miss K is so excited about the pillow she purchased for her daddy. She chuckled about the saying all the way home (that's 2 hours of driving time)and told her friends about it today at school. She is so worried about him finding it before Christmas that she demanded we wrap it last night. I don't even have the tree up yet, but one gift is wrapped.

I should visit more often Miss Wilma...the surrounding farmland is so beautiful in your area. It was so soothing to drive along and see the cattle out in the fields...reminded me of home and how I can't wait to move back to Kentucky and live on my own farm.

I feel horrible that I didn't get to come. I am still trying to get things done. We had our Christmas Banquet tonight and thankfully that is over with. I decided to not run for officer for next year (I was secretary) to relief some things I have to do with a local organization. I thought things would slow down in December, but it is just nutso. I'm taking the day off from work @ both places as I have a doctor's appt in the morning and taking it easy for the rest of the day. This weekend is one of my nephews birthday party and my parents 35th wedding anniversary and I'm working on stuff with it. I probably won't get a Christmas tree up because the living room is packed with presents for both sides of the family that need to be wrapped.

I really wish I could have been there. You gals are a hoot to be around!!! We definitely need to get together sometime again.

Well chickadees...keep those stories coming from the weekend. I wish I could have been there!!

Jessie, you and me both!! Sam got a little sick so we didn't come, but before that, when I thought we were still coming, I had told Pam that you were busy & might not make it, & she said.."That's too bad, I really like Jessie; she is a sweetie"
We need to plan something over the break or 1st of the year.
Good luck at the docs tomorrow.

I had the best time on Sunday! I didn't get to stay as long as I would have liked, but I'll be back before Christmas Miss Wilma! I gotta get Miss Gracie on of them Horse Pillows for Christmas. She couldn't wait to get home and hang her ornament up on the tree. And it was so nice meeting everyone and getting to see all the goodies Miss Wilma has. Girls, if anyone hasn't had the pleasure of visiting Miss Wilma's shop you better mark it on the to-do list!

I love my chicken pillow, it's in the center of my couch. I think the saying is absolutely true! "Raising kids is like being pecked to death by a chicken."

Best farm wishes
