is a normal ladies hankie? I would like to make my own, but dont want to make them too big lest I have to carry a pillowcase in my purse to daintily blow my nose..lol :) Thanks!
I just measured a couple of my old vintage ones and on average they are between 12 inch and 16 inch squares. The 16 inch one is that big due to the fancy edge work that is on it. I like the ones that are about 14-16 best.
me too... 14-16 square. Bigger and they are toooo big, when you pull one out of your purse feels like a table cover.. but any size is better than carrying a roll of toilet paper...
lol...I completely agree Cheryl! Luckily I have a diaper bag that has to be toted so the rolls of toilet paper aren't so noticeable..lol..but there is somethingmuch lovelier about hankies...hehe thanks girls! HUGS
