Decided to try a Nov. camping trip with the hubby and little ones. We are going to Caledonia State Park in PA this weekend. I am definitely making sure that we take some extra blankets, warm clothes, and a heater just in case. We have an old 1983 Viking Pop Up camper, so it does get a little chilly at night.
What are you all going to do this weekend?? Hopefully I won't be freezing :)

Hey Tammy have fun camping with your family, It will be fun. Share some pictures when you get back.
Last weekend was my last camping out in my tent until hunting season is over. I camped out for 13,maybe 14 weekends the summer and fall.
It got down in the 20* with ice forming on the water. I had no heater in the tent but lots of covers. I stayed really warm, but oh getting up. I headed right on the trails to the fireplace and hot coffee that dh had made at home : ).
Have fun, I love fall camping. Hopes for a camp out in the snow soon
I love fall camping too. DH and I usually take the RV a couple of time to a state campground on the plains where it's warmer than the mountains. They have electric hookups and we bring a small space heater so even if it's cold we stay toasty. We love to sit in the RV and read or play games and just go out walking. Unfortunately we've been too busy to go this year. This weekend for example DH is off Elk hunting with friends. Maybe I should just go without him! Hmmm...pack me and the dog up and take off on Friday afternoon? I'm liking this idea! I could even bring the sewing machine!
