This link worked for me. If not, go to the section "Across the Fence" and do a search for Traveling Mascot Dolls. Photos? Can't wait!

i roamed through the above 7-page 'thread' twice and could not for the life of me see instructions for posting pictures. is it somewhere 'just by itself'? seems to me i saw it somewhere before but can't find it again. sure would love a 'place of it's own' where we could find the instructions. seems that the directions i found when i first joined said we had to go through 'hotmail'. (but now i can't find where i put them ... i even did a 'photo' search-word thing). is there anyway to have 'posting picture' abilities somewhere on the forum pages .. where all we have to do is 'click' and 'upload' from our own picture source (mine are on the computer filed in 'my pictures') delphi does this .. and we landed on the moon .. sooooooo .. i would hope this would be an easy thingie to do here too.

click on forum code to the left when you are typing a post. scroll all the way down and you will see how to do it. VERY easy.

Thanks for answering Susan! But I was confused by "click on forum code to the left when you are typing a post," and also, people need to understand that they will have to have their photos posted somewhere else on the Web (at Yahoo photos, your own ISP's server, etc.) before they can actually insert their photos on one of the threads. On our site, you're just basically making a link to your photos that are already "on the Web." For example, HapyHrt's photos in A Farm of My Own/LQQKY! Beth's New Farm!!! *pics! reside at
http://tinypic.com/ejzpkn.jpg (not on our server, but at tinypic.com).

If you do already have photos posted somewhere, then here's how you go about making a link to them in a post:

On my computer, when I choose "reply to topic," I get a screen that allows you to type in a text box. At the top of that text box, there is a line of symbols that allow you to format text, add hyperlinks, etc. On that line of symbols (starting with a B for bold type), you'll see a little icon that shows a picture of mountains (fourth symbol from the right). If you mouse over that, you'll see it says "insert image" Just click on that once and it will insert two image tags: (img)(/img) (except they'll have brackets around them instead of parentheses, but I can't show you that here since that won't allow you to see the code.) Then you'll insert your photo link address between those two image tags, like this:
(img)http://tinypic.com/ejzpkn.jpg(/img) (again, these will be brackets instead of parentheses)

Hope this helps!
Thanks,
Carol
