Hey gals! For all of you in blog land, I need your help. I started one last week... http://ranchmama.blogspot.com/ But the last few days, I've been trying to start a new post and add pictures and I can't. I have my photos on photobucket and I can't move them over to the blog. Well, I did once, through photobucket strait to blogger but it turned up on my page super HUGE!
Can I host pics on photobucket? I can post them from my puter, but on photobucket I've all ready edited them, you know made brighter and rotated... So I'm stuck... what do I do?
Please help! Thanks Elise

Ive never tried to put pics on from photobucket I always just go thru my puter to upload pics. You may just have to go from the puter, I know you dont want to but that maybe the only way. Wish I could be of more help. Hope you get a better answer soon. Blessings, Karen

I can edit my photos on my computer and that's where I get them from for my blog, also. I don't know where the program to edit photos came from. I suspect dd got it free from the web. It doesn't do everything, but it does rotate, crop, lighten and darken as well as eliminate red eye. It's called "Picture It! 9". Hope that helps.

Yes, you can post pictures from photobucket to the blog. Let me open up my blog....
When you start a new post there are a lot of little icons and such that sort of look like the top to Microsoft Word. One of the icons looks like a little picture. When that loads, there is the option to load from computer or the web. To load from the web, all you need to do is put in the url of the picture. In photobucket this would be the "Direct Link" url that is below the picture.
If the size is too big look at the bottom portion of that "add picture" box that pops up. You can choose the size to be "small" "Medium" or "large". I think medium is what I normally use.

Thanks for the advice. I just didn't try that direct link code I guess. I still had to resize the pics in my blog.. even after clicking the small view in blogger and resizing them in photobucket. This is why I hate technology! lol It has taken me at least 1 1/2 hrs to post the little bit I did and post 4 pictures. I accidentaly delelted one, but since it took me so long to resize, I didn't bother putting it back up. Oh well.. I'll try again in a few weeks! Elise
