Hey Frannie, I'm going to chime in here too. I didn't keep up with the Farmgirl of the month so don't know and glad I don't. I can see why you were picked by all these wonderful post here, "Congraulations".

I would think one of the attributes of being a Farmgirl among many is forgiving and saying sorry. Forgiving ones short comings. Its hard and it hurts but your whole being will feel better if you do and you can shake this.

Wear that badge of Farmgirl of the month with pride and courage, and pass it on to another deserving Farmgirl next month. You were picked because you are loved. Now that right there would make it all right : ),

Please stay in the family and come through this knowing we are like a real family with ups and downs that we all can overcome. (((hugs)))

Hi Frannie,
I missed it all too, sorry! I can tell you were hurt by it and for that I am so sad. I certainly know that when we are sick, handling any "drama" seems overwhelming, and our first instinct can be to "cut it out" before it requires more energy that we simply don’t have.

As I was thinking about this, I thought why is it? that sometimes we will focus on the one "negative" and ignore all the positives? I do it to sometimes, too. Like we can't see the forest for the trees. We can be surrounded by people that love and appreciate who we are, and all that we are and yet focus on "ones" that can't, or wont.

One of my favorite TV shows was "Frasier"...... there is an episode that is my all time favorite, Frazier and Miles are learning to ride bikes and one of them keeps running into a tree, the only tree in the park, and it is hysterical, he is so focused on the tree that no matter what he finds himself smacking the tree.(lol)

Frannie, I wish for you 2 things 1) Abundant health ~ as someone who is in remission of lupus, I know its importance, and 2) that your heart will be lighter as you focus on the pages of farmgirls that really don’t want you to go. Their love of you written on every page and sealed with the stamp of being "farmgirl of the month".... I don’t think it is other people’s words and opinions that define us; it is that still small voice inside us that does... you know that you are as deserving as the next person for this honor... I hope you put your head up high, scream "I AM A FARMGIRL" and wear it proud.

Stay; there is no better place for a farmgirl to be. One of the greatest things about being a girl is the option to change our minds………………

I logged onto the computer this morning and checked this topic first thing not because of the "drama" of it, but because I was hoping more girls chimed in to support you and of course, they did! I read what you posted below and wanted to comment on it.

Frannie, I am not one to blow sunshine up your apron just for the kicks. If you're hurt by something we apparently all missed...and we're saying 'oh, no one would mean anything by it', well then you're right...thought it seems like we're putting our heads in the sand and trying to make you do the same you felt hurt again--but you know we were all really not "in the know" about the post. So, I'm here to tell ya, girl--since I missed the post and of course the emails you received--I'm sorry this happened to you and I hope you feel better by that those of us who can't imagine questioning why you were chosen (too many reasons to list) because we were too busy saying "yippee!"

My goodness, I hope you don't leave for long! I'm on of the newer ones too but I do know that you are a backbone to this forum and I have truly loved reading all the bunny tales. You are loved by many farmgirls here and as Alee said there would be a big hole that no one else would be able to fill. Don't let a few rotten apples keep you from the many who love you.

Well, Frannie ~ it looks like there isn't a farm girl on this forum who's willing to let you go. And I'm definitely ONE OF THEM!! So, come on home to the girls who love you. Most of us don't know what happened, and it doesn't sound like what ever it was would bother them one bit. So, how 'bout it? Our arms are opened, just waiting for you to step right into them!!!!!

I just read the love love love thread. From what I could tell it had been greatly edited, lots deleted, so I only got bits and pieces.

But, honestly I think many really wondered how it worked. I didn't know how it worked. I didn't mind who was FGOTM, on the other hand, I did wonder how it went. If it was just a group of girls who were friends, or how. But, that didn't mean I didn't think who was chosen shouldn't be, or that I was jealous, just plain curious.

I think a lot of people were just curious too. Asking doesn't always mean something negative.

That being said, why not try to go to the ones personally who you feel were negative and try to work it out? There's a scripture in the Bible about going to your brother and laying things bear or is it bare? lol haha Any way, it means going and airing things out and trying to work things out, when you have been hurt.

I sure hope you don't leave. That would really be a shame, over something like this especially.

*hugs* Please rest and reconsider.

as I am reading over the posts, I noticed that Frannie has not responded in over 2 1/2 pages. I hope that doesnt mean she has left. What a sad state that we as grown women can not find a way to work things out. We are about sharing and caring for one another and I have no idea what happened, but how sad that someone's joy has been stolen among we farmgirls. It is sort of a little wake up call, that while we can enjoy ourselves and joke and do whatever we wish, there are real actual women sitting on the other sides of our computers and we are sharing in one another's lives. I am so happy that you all have shown out to support Frannie and I second to tell her she is loved on this site and we want her to stay! :O) It is a special sistership we all find that fits us each in our own special way.
Makes me really stop to think.

Frannie, I don't know what happened, but I sincerely hope you will stay! People may have been curious as to how ladies are chosen for farmgirl of the month, but I believe it would have better to ask those picking as opposed to the one who was picked! I would feel bad also if it were me being asked how I was chosen! It's easy to forget that you can't convey the tone of what you are asking in a post or e-mail except maybe to add the little faces! I will keep you in my prayers and I hope you don't go!
