Remember your idea to juice apples and use the pulp to make apple butter? Well, I used your idea on the plums I had left to do and it worked like a charm. I have 2 quarts of juice and 24 pints of plum butter and it took half the time it would have if I hadn't juiced them first! The plum butter turned out just wonderful.
