It is more of a way for me to get my dreams out of my head and into something more concrete. It is also a way for me to describe what our plans are to my family who are less than understanding about the whole venture. They just don't seem to understand but maybe that has more to do with my inability to articulate it verbally.

NatureNymph,

I left you a comment on your blog. You are living the life we'd like when we retire in a couple of years.

I see you're in Canada...we're leaving for our vacation this Saturday and will be spending at least a week or two in Ontario and Quebec. My family used to spend most of their summer vacations in Ontario and I've always loved it.

Interesting, I will read more often. I have visited Barrie Ontario SO often, my relatives lived closeby, well relatively speaking, lol.

Hugs from me

Thanks Ladies...

We're leaving for our vacation in a week too. We're going to Massachusettes (forgive my spelling...can you spell Saskatchewan?) . We'll be in Salem for a week over my Birthday. I've always wanted to go there for Halloween.

I'm new to this blog thing so I am not sure how to work it all out...but I'll learn.

We're not living the life yet. We're house hunting in the spring and the going on a six month RV trip starting next Fall so we won't actually be settled until Spring 2010 but we'll get there.

Tracy, Congratulations on your new farm life. I left you a comment on your blog. I just started a blog myself in August. I'm enjoying it. Can't wait to watch your farm progress unfold.

Best,
Katy

Is it a sign of addiction when you create yet another blog in the same month? If it is, then I am an addict.

I publish an eNewsletter (free) and had the sudden realization that I should keep an abridged version as a blog to attract new subscribers. So since all you wonderful ladies have received my Bless Ewe Farm blog so well, may I introduce my Simplicity Sampler Blog.

Okay...now I am done blogging for a few weeks...hopefully I can resist the urge.
