I think I would like to join this swap. Sounds like fun. Just think if all the Valentime Day cards that you would receive in the mail!!

I have a quick question. It this centrilized? Are we sending all the cards to the swap mother? Do we need to put postage on each card or will the be sent in one large envelope?

This is a easy, fun and most creative swap. Once the list is closed, each one of you will get the list, you are to make a valentine card for each girl on that list, flooding your mailbox in Feb. with farmgirl love and the prettiest cards ever! You can add something if you like, that is up to you, but keep a eye on the number, we are at 20 already and could get more. I think the most we have had in the last 3 years was 35 or 40, but it was fun to create different cards. Get your kids involved if you feel overwhelmed, they would love to help. One year I had my DIL help me, she had a blast and became a card maker from then on. The posibilites are endless, just have fun with it and in the end you will have some pretty keepsakes.

Ok girls, now that the Christmas rush is over and after my pc misbehaving, we are back! Kathy, yes there is still room, in fact, anyone who wants to sign up for the annual Valentine card swap has till the 2nd to do so, then we will send out the list and we can start making those lovely Valentines that we have done for 4 years now! I'm getting excited and cant' wait to start creating cards! I hope to have the list ready to send out this weekend, so if you'd like to join us in this old fashioned Valentine swap, just let me know. To all who have signed up, send me a email with your mailing info and MJ screen name too. I'll take a head count on Friday. If you need some ideas, just do a search on old fashioned valentine swap and see all the pretty cards that have been made. So, start thinking cuz soon your mailbox will be flooded with handmade valentines, just like when we were in school.....it's just not for kids anymore!

Mid week check in ladies, and we got a few more card makers to add to the list. If you still haven't gotten your mailing info. to me, please do so by the 10th so I can get the list off so we can get the valentines in the mail by Feb.1. I've also got a surprise for you too but can't tell till I get it, let's just say, the giveaway for the card makers will be special!
