Sorry Beverley! Not much sleep at our house this week (and not enough coffee on the planet to make up for it!) with all the stock market stuff - DH is a financial consultant and his job is all about the stock market. I agree the more the merrier - Valentine's Day is my 2nd fave holiday (after Christmas, of course).
And she's right... Junebug, please forgive me. We should probably discuss what each of us wants to do before it comes time to post. I can't wait to hear your ideas! |

I promised I would send out another reminder in December - here it is. I'll start taking sign-ups on 12/31, and we'll work out partners/groups the first week of January, and posted by 01/07/09. Valentines will need to be mailed ABSOLUTELY NO LATER THAN 02/01.

So sorry for the delay, my mail server is the pits!! Anyhoo, I don't want to step on any toes either, combining the two would solve the issue, making it one big swap. In swap, I'm talking about making old fashioned Valentine cards for each name on the list, like we've done in the past and let me tell you, they are amazing and lovely, such keepsakes plus it's something to do in cold winter months. So Ann, can we combine the lists? I emailed you but never heard back? Let me know, thanks!!

Ann do we have all of the details and "rules" for this swap yet?
I know I had said way back in Septemeber that I would be interested but I am not sure if I have the time to make enough for everyone. I only want to commit if I can give 100%! Ann I know you had originally thought that maybe we would be doing it in smaller groups with us able to swap whatever handiwork we had created. When you have time please let me know if that is still the plan!

Hello Valentine lovers! I've been in talks with Ann and we will be working together to bring you another fun valentine swap, the fourth for the farm! I'm looking forward to making those sweet cards, if anyone needs inspiration, do a search on valentines and it should bring up the past swaps with some lovely photos of our creations. I'm always amazed at the art work from farmgirls! So, keep signing up, will leave it open till just after the first of the year so we can compile a list. If the list gets too big we may divide the group up, that will be left up to you all. For now, enjoy your Christmas, we know it's a busy time so rest up, a fun winter is in store for you here, who doesn't like getting pretty mail in the dead of winter? Happy to see such a good turnout, hope some of the regulars will return too!

Yes, a simple, old fashioned, handmade card exchange. If you want to add anything to your card that is up to you. This is meant to be a fun, creative way to express friendship in a keepsake card. The only concern is size and once I find my envelope template, I will post postal regualations on size. I remember the first year making these, I had some come back for non regulation size. So, keep signing up, don't let this swap interfer with your holiday rush, we will finalize this swap after Christmas and a little rest. :)
