Yum! That sounds fabulous and I think it's wonderful that you have friends that are comfortable enough with you that they make requests. And to request a specific dish that you've made before, talk about a compliment!
My favorite cornmeal recipe has to be my Mom's plain old cornbread. She was a Texas gal and used to make cornbread alot. Most of the cornbread we get up here is a cake like thing but there was nothing sweet about Mom's. I sure do miss it and I can't make it near like hers even though she told me she followed the recipe on the box. I think it must of been the "love" she put into it!
OH my...sounds heavenly..I Love cornmeal things..(cornbread especially) and I do have a bag of blueberries in the freezer...must do this one...thanks!!!
