I will wear RED just for him. Let him know that because I am a farmgirl - I don't have a problem with sleeping in a barn!!! As a former 4-H Horse and Pony leader - I spent many a night on a cot or lawn chair sleeping in barns!!(I am bringing a sleeping bag just in case hee hee)
As for the gifties - I didn't buy a single one. You'll get to see some of my "handy" work.
I was talking with my hubby the other day - there is an ever so slight chance that I might get to go to the BBB after all. We are trying to figure some things out, but...... We thought about taking the train out from Chicago and flying back due to time. He wants to come along, but he and Lliam are going to go on to Washington to see his Aunt Becky. She lives in Bow. We haven't seen her in 3 years. Keep you fingers crossed and it probably wouldn't hurt to say a couple of prayers too!!
Gotta run - have to finish getting things together for the weekend.

Okay Lora, where is Bow, WA? I tried looking in my atlas and it's not even in the index. Can you even tell me a larger town/ciy that it is by?

Its sounding like BBB is gonna be taken over by Mavens!! Lora, we willhave to talk about the train thing this weekend.
karen sang me a lovely song yesterday and she is on her way back home. I hope she takes a day or two to get acclimated again and then I have little doubt she will be posting away again.

Annika, I hope you are feeling better really, really soon. Colds are the worst.
Dawn I'm so glad you had a good birthday. I like to spend my bd alone, but sometimes well meaning friends and family plan otherwise,;^), then you go with the flow and be thankful for them in your life.
Yes, we miss Karen and it will be good to have her back.
Corinne, I hope you are not ill, you have been very quiet.
Okay, I've got three sheets of beadboard to prime, back and front, then paint, also need to paint kitchen door, two sets of cupboard doors and a small cupboard, and clean inbetween. So off to "get ready for the holidays land" for me.

Wellllll, we will fit in everyone we can. I have two guest rooms. one room has a double bed and a crib, the other has a double bed, and a day bed that makes out into two single beds. I can borrow a queen air mattress, we will do okay, as long as no one thinks it's going to be the Hilton, hehehehe

Hey, mavens! I'm back!!! Just talked to our QMD a few minutes ago and Lora should be arriving shortly. I'm online for the next hour or so to work on the newsletter. I'll be reading this week's posts as I copy them so will be commenting as I go. If anyone's out there and wants to chat, I'm desperate for some mavensation (that's short for maven conversation).

Hi Karen, very glad to have you back. Hope you are rested some from your travels. I have a cold so I've been MIA a lot and sleeping. Lazy me =)
I think Dawn described her bon fire pile as about the size of Maine and you should be able to see it from space :P I wish I could be there and hope that they both have way too much fun to be legal for two Maven chicks to have.

Hi, Annika, my maven buddy! I am very, make that VERY glad to be back. So sorry you have a cold. Sleep is good. It was the first thing we did when we arrived home. Didn't even unpack the car at all. heh heh heh.
Dawn and Lora, can't wait to hear the stories about this weekend, not to mention the pictures. You two will have a blast and you both are so deserving of a good time. Enjoy!
