Okay, the cat doesn't know what to do with herself with everyone else chilling out. She just fell off of the top of the dresser after snooping up there.

Two more minutes.

God bless -

yes Teresa Sue you are
you, Denise and Karen.
thanks:0) I was given a huge "mama plant" by a guy that I bought some daylilies from and the garlic bloomed last month..I let the flowers stay on the plants and go to seed.
and I had enough to make a few extra packets of seed and still be able to save a little for myself.

This actually the first time I have made it to the chatting since I joined. I am usually pretty beat after work. I was today too but I did so want to chat with you all.
Back to the shop tomorrow. Hoping for a calmer day.

Okay, one of the other cats is awake now and snooping at the change bowl. Guess I'd better sign off before he pulls it on the floor.

Final things: check out the new cookbook info. Someone had extras of the first cookbook awhile back and I put in a request for one but haven't heard anything yet. Would one of you remind me to check on that tomorrow, please? I'm "behind" on the AVM for this week. Read it a few weeks ago but need to reread those to get up to snuff for discussion. Again, plan to do that tomorrow and then look out. I'll be a posting fool at times since I won't be able to do as much next week. And no chatting next Monday - already blue about that.

Those of you staying on, have a wonderful rest-of-chatting time. Everyone, when you lay yourself down to rest, have pleasant, cheerful, mavenly dreams.

Love you all, my dear mavens!

God bless -

Okay, one more quick animal-ism. I just heard Gus (our dog) snoring. He's in our bedroom and the door is closed! Now I can blame ALL the snoring on Gussie!!! I knew he was good for more than just being cute.

God bless -

I can't wait 'til I have my seed savers catalogue! And once Heritage harvest seed has updated their store I can make an order from them. I love laying out all of my seed packets and dreaming of my garden to come in the spring.

Good night to those of you heading off to dream land. Hello to those of you still here. Okay, about baking bread.... I seriously need (pun intended) for somebody to come to my house and show me how to make bread. I tried it a few times and it was a disaster!! It came out hard as a brick I tell ya. I remember my grandmother making huge homemade yeast rolls that would just melt in your mouth. She didn't have a recipe, just from memory. I don't think I inherited the baking gene. :( Corinne, I would also like to have your "wild maven" yeast recipe. :) Pretty please??

Rene: So happy to know that you are still with us in one piece. WOWZA!! That was a close call for sure.

Well, I have not started journaling yet. I need to get myself a notebook. I am having an allergic reaction to something but I cannot put my finger on exactly what it could be. The culprits could be many things....fragrance in laundry soap, bath soap (hubby insists on Dial and I hate Dial soap!), shampoo and possibly even food. Hmmmm........come to think of it..... I have been getting these really bad headaches AFTER I eat. Right now though, it is just a hive like rash. I will have to play detective for a while to figure this one out.

"Love one another."

More of the same work a bit, but mostly sorting books and things for storage, so that I have more room in my tiny home. I want a lovely Christmas tree and I need to make room for it. With all of my books a-cluttered about I will be doing a lot of work. Can you tell that I love books?

Hey Brenda, good to see you here. I will post the recipe in the Mavens section. The thing about bread is to have a supple dough with enough moisture in it and to kneal it for long enough untill it is not sticky anymore WITHOUT add too much flour. would love to come ever and show you Brenda.
Poor you, it seems that you have a lot to investigate. Rashes are often related to laundry that is sure. Acidity is also a culprit in migraines.
