Well, how about you? Are you making any progress on the fall farm chores? If I had one more nice day I would get all the leaves up off the cemetery. My computer says 90% rain/snow tonight though. I will be glad to be done. I put in a long day there today.

Getting tarps over hay bales and securing them against the winds, trying to winterize my rooster's roost and chasing stray goats. Waiting for the snow to start flying.

Hi Girls-Just a quick pop in to say Hi and then I will be off the computer. This morning I had to appear for Jury Duty and wouldn't you know they picked me for a week long trial!!! So I will not be on the computer this week but wanted to let everyone know why. Denise and Karen, I will have to send your seed out next week beings I won't be able to make it to the post office. Have a great week everyone.

Yikeys, if I had a nickle for every seed packet I wanted, I'd never have to worry about finding money to buy them, lol.

Oh, Rene, words can't even begin to express how thankful I am that you're safe. I don't remember if you were the only one in your car but so thankful that God covered you with His one hand and moved the car aside with the other. Sending up prayers of thanks and sending much love to you.

Howdy to everyone else!

TS, fill us in on the details of your weekend.

Oh yea, sorry I'm getting in late. I wanted hubby to listen to something on the radio so I sat with him.

God bless -

Take care Lillian, we'll miss you. I've been called twice in the last year, but never picked. Hmmmm, I try to keep that tic from showing,*g*
Annika, tarping hay is the pits. How do you keep it secure? We finally started tying tire to rope and threading it through the grommets. The only thing I can think of using a used tire for, ha!

Tarping hay is a a lot of work, I'll have to see if I can scare up some tires...the saplings I've been tying to are not very heavy. Thanks for the idea!

That's pretty cool! I answered your question before it showed up on the post but it looks like it's in the right order on the thread. Great minds.........

Hi Tina Michelle, I just emailed you.
Hi Karen. Weekend was fun. I am exhausted. I have gallyvanted more the last month than I normally do in a couple of years! Had a very nice time with my friends. Hmmmm.....bought fabric in St.Maries, also found a beautiful glass cake stand in the antique shop. I have wanted one for a long time and there it was!! I collect teacups but I didn't find one of those so I splurged on the cake stand. The lookout was spectacular, we were higher than the fog and it was such an incrediable view. I even worked on my grandmothers flower garden quilt blocks while I was there. I am glad to be home. Want to finish cemetery, I need to work in my own yard, and my house needs a good sprucing up before Thanksgiving.

Annika, you could get tire from a tire shop if you don't have some hanging around somewhere. The tire shops are glad to get rid of them, because they have to pay to dispose of them.
